Facility:
This is a well-established regional health system serving the greater Fargo area and surrounding communities. The facility features a 16-bed pediatric department with a Level 2 trauma and pediatric designation, supported by 24-hour availability of comprehensive services including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, radiology, and more, ensuring a strong clinical environment for providers.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) – Hospitalist – Pediatrics

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage with an average daily census of approximately 11 patients across Pediatrics and the Nursery
• Typical volume of 1-3 admissions per shift
• Schedule runs 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overnight call and callback as needed
• An APRN/PA provides primary evening call coverage
• Preferred availability of one 7-10 day stretch per month; priority given to candidates who can accommodate this schedule
• Minimum of two years of Pediatric Hospitalist experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• Pediatric inpatient procedures required
• Pediatric intubation required
• PALS certification required
• Board certification required
• Active North Dakota license or IMLC required
• Must meet credentialing and privileging threshold criteria; estimated credentialing timeframe is 45-120 days
• Locum Tenens engagement with an ASAP start date on an ongoing basis

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
