Opportunity:
Physician – Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity providing inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour beeper call basis
- Shift times run 7am to 7am with 10-15 patient encounters per shift
- Coverage needed for specific dates including November, December, January, and April windows
- Practice split will be 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive cardiology
- NUC reading and NUC activity will be required
- Must have several years of experience in interventional cardiology; new graduates will not be considered
- Active California medical license required; licensed in CA only
- Active DEA required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
- Active Fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification is required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required
- Any gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
- Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be submitted upon presentation
- Credentialing timeframe is estimated at 60-90 days
- Long-term housing assistance available if needed
Compensation:
