This well-established hospital serves as a regional healthcare hub in southeast Missouri, offering comprehensive surgical and clinical services to the surrounding community. The facility operates at a Level 4 trauma designation and provides strong support through an APP on-call team to assist physicians during their shifts.

Physician – Orthopaedic Surgery – Orthopaedic Sports Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity beginning October 1, 2026 on an ongoing basis
• Schedule consists of 2.5 clinic days and 2.5 OR days per week
• Providers must be able to commit to full-time availability or a minimum of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule
• Physicians will take call while also seeing patients in the clinic, with an APP on-call available to assist
• 25-30 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required; Minimum Board Certification Eligible accepted
• Active Missouri license or IMLC required to bid
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
• Required specialty skills include arthroscopy, total joint replacement (hip and knee), and hip and knee procedures

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
