Job Details:
• Perform clinical anesthesia duties with direct patient care responsibility
• Work casual schedule Monday through Friday 0700-1530 with 8 hours paid per shift
• No call requirements – shifts assigned on first come, first serve basis by CRNA Manager
• Provide anesthesia services for general, orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, ophthalmology, and ENT procedures
• Work in combined practice model with both MDA supervised and independently run cases
• Administer anesthetic agents following established protocols and guidelines
• Communicate patient status effectively to healthcare team members
• Facilitate staff coverage, assignments and breaks in surgical areas
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan
• Assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs
• Ensure patients and families are partners in anesthesia care planning
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia required
• Current state licensure and NBCRNA certification required
• BCLS certification required, ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Active participation in professional organizations and community activities encouraged
