This heart failure clinic is part of a large, mission-driven academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people across 29 eastern North Carolina counties. The not-for-profit system includes nine hospitals, a children's hospital, and over 1,200 academic and community providers practicing across more than 120 locations. The clinic is housed within a multispecialty facility offering 12 specialties and subspecialties, and is equipped with an onsite ICAEL accredited cardiovascular lab.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Cardiology

Job Details:

• Outpatient only position with no call requirements
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-5pm; Thursday 8am-1pm
• Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and management of heart failure patients and coordination of patient and family care needs
• Join an established team consisting of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider
• Ability to work independently with limited daily physician supervision
• Inpatient support provided by nearby academic heart and hospital facilities
• Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP, or AGNP
• Minimum of 2 years of provider experience preferred, ideally in acute, chronic, or advanced heart failure management
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
