This well-established health system provides comprehensive cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical services to the region. The facility features a 17-bed ICU and is part of a respected academic health network committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting its clinical staff.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (PA) – Cardiovascular Surgery, Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens engagement to augment the Cardiothoracic Surgery service line while a permanent staff search is conducted
• Two weeks per month availability required with initial scheduled dates in late September, late October, and early November with additional dates to follow
• Must be skilled and independent in vein harvesting utilizing the Maquet Vasoview system
• Support a 17-bed ICU with 2-10 patient encounters per shift
• Active Kansas license or IMLC licensure required to be considered
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 1 day
• Nearest airport is KCI with lodging accommodations available at the Hilton Garden Inn, Topeka, KS

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
