This Florida medical center is part of a well-established healthcare network offering a broad general diagnostic radiology environment with high emergency department imaging utilization and significant CT stroke and neurovascular imaging activity. The facility provides strong provider support with a balanced workload that features minimal interventional radiology burden compared to larger regional facilities.

Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist – Radiology

Job Details:

  • Onsite general and light IR coverage needed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with availability for all major and minor holidays
  • Long-term assignment of 104 weeks
  • Board Certified only
  • Perform X-Ray imaging including portable chest, chest 2 view, trauma extremities, pelvis, and spine
  • Conduct CT imaging including CT head, CT abdomen/pelvis, CTA chest PE, CTA head/neck, and trauma CT
  • Perform ultrasound studies including venous duplex, gallbladder, renal, pelvic, and OB/GYN
  • Conduct MRI studies including brain, spine, shoulder, and pelvis
  • Perform fluoroscopy procedures including esophagram, upper GI, and small bowel follow through
  • Support nuclear medicine studies including HIDA, lung perfusion, and bone scan
  • Perform light IR procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and breast localization
  • High emergency department imaging utilization with significant CT stroke and neurovascular imaging activity
  • Routine inpatient and outpatient CT interpretation required
  • Vascular, abdominal, renal, and OB ultrasound support required
  • Image-guided procedural work required
  • Productivity volume of 45 RVUs per shift
  • Technology stack includes RPCE and Powerscribe 4.0

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
