Opportunity:
Physician – Psychiatry
Job Details:
- Serve as Lead Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist providing clinical and administrative leadership for comprehensive ambulatory psychiatry services
- Provide direct outpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment for patients ranging from preschool through age 25
- Oversee program operations across General Outpatient Psychiatry, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Autism Center services
- Lead a multidisciplinary behavioral health team including psychology, social work, family therapy, speech therapy, and case management professionals
- Support program development, quality initiatives, and clinical operations
- Participate in statewide psychiatric consultation services
- Inpatient call opportunities available
- Candidates with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, pediatric psychopharmacology, and family-centered care are strongly encouraged to apply
- Academic appointment available through a major medical school, with opportunities for teaching, research, and scholarly activity
- Collaborate with Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows, General Psychiatry Residents, Pediatric Residents, Medical Students, and allied health trainees
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license required or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, clinical leadership, psychopharmacology, evidence-based treatment, and ambulatory program operations preferred
