Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties

Job Details:

  • Partner with Cardiologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures
  • Provide pre- and post-care for cardiology subspecialty patients, including populations such as ACS, CHF, PAD, and TAVR
  • Engage in independent decision-making and manage procedure-related issues
  • Collaborate with consultants and specialists to provide exceptional patient-centered care
  • Work with all members of the patient care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays required
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred
  • Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or APRN in the state of Connecticut
  • Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN required
  • Cardiology experience preferred; APRN/PA experience required
  • Access to professional development resources including leadership development opportunities and LEAN process improvement initiatives
  • Support and mentorship provided through on-the-job, classroom, and procedural training
