Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties
Job Details:
- Partner with Cardiologists in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures
- Provide pre- and post-care for cardiology subspecialty patients, including populations such as ACS, CHF, PAD, and TAVR
- Engage in independent decision-making and manage procedure-related issues
- Collaborate with consultants and specialists to provide exceptional patient-centered care
- Work with all members of the patient care team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays required
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred
- Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or APRN in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN required
- Cardiology experience preferred; APRN/PA experience required
- Access to professional development resources including leadership development opportunities and LEAN process improvement initiatives
- Support and mentorship provided through on-the-job, classroom, and procedural training
