The facility is physician-led and offers access to system-wide resources, specialty expertise, and a collaborative statewide Infectious Disease network with more than 25 Infectious Disease specialists working together across the integrated system.

Physician – Infectious Disease
Job Details:
- Provide inpatient Infectious Disease consultations at a central Connecticut hospital
- Maintain an outpatient practice with opportunities to care for HIV and Hepatitis C patients
- Participate in Antimicrobial Stewardship initiatives
- Collaborate with Infection Prevention, Hospital Epidemiology, and Quality teams
- Shared call coverage with experienced Infectious Disease colleagues
- No primary care responsibilities
- Dedicated Hospitalist program manages inpatient admissions
- Opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Academic appointments available through partnering universities
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Connecticut
