Job Details:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures
- Deliver pre- and post-care for cardiology subspecialties including ACS, CHF, PAD, and TAVR populations
- Engage in independent clinical decision-making and manage procedure-related issues
- Collaborate with consultants and specialists to provide exceptional patient-centered care
- Work closely with all members of the patient care team in a fully integrated environment
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program (preferred) or an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
- National Board Certification, or eligibility to be certified, as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required
- Prior experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience strongly preferred
- Access to state-of-the-art clinical and informatics technology
- Reimbursement available for CME, professional society membership, licensure, and malpractice
