Job Details:

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient complex consultations for invasive cardiology procedures
  • Deliver pre- and post-care for cardiology subspecialties including ACS, CHF, PAD, and TAVR populations
  • Engage in independent clinical decision-making and manage procedure-related issues
  • Collaborate with consultants and specialists to provide exceptional patient-centered care
  • Work closely with all members of the patient care team in a fully integrated environment
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program (preferred) or an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
  • National Board Certification, or eligibility to be certified, as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required
  • Prior experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner strongly preferred
  • Cardiology experience strongly preferred
  • Access to state-of-the-art clinical and informatics technology
  • Reimbursement available for CME, professional society membership, licensure, and malpractice
