This children's hospital is a highly regarded pediatric medical center dedicated to providing specialized care for children and young adults. The facility is equipped to handle complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical cases, offering a collaborative and supportive environment for advanced practice providers working alongside experienced pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgeons.

Opportunity:
Board Certified – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Details:

  • Immediate need for 2 board-certified APRN/PA-C Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery APPs
  • At least three years of post-training work experience with pediatric cardiac surgery patient care is required
  • RNFA certification is required for APRN candidates
  • Work alongside Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons both in and out of the operating room
  • Experience in caring for pediatric cardiac patients in a variety of settings, including ICU, is required
  • Serve as a patient advocate, acting as liaison between patients and physicians
  • Schedule includes eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday
  • Call responsibilities include approximately 15 days per month including weekends
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required
  • Board certification required with a minimum credentialing timeframe of 90 days
  • Must hold an active Florida license or IMLC to be considered
  • Locum Tenens opportunity – ASAP start with an ongoing end date

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
