Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Cardiology
Job Details:
- Board-Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner sought to join a well-established advanced heart failure and LVAD program
- Nurse Practitioners must be ANP, FNP, AGNP, or ACNP certified
- Minimum of 2 years of provider experience required
- Hybrid position with responsibilities in both Inpatient and Ambulatory Settings
- 40 clinical hours per week with extra shift pay for rotating hospital weekend coverage
- Join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support team including an advanced heart failure cardiologist, heart failure surgeon, heart failure pharmacist, heart failure social worker, seven advanced heart failure practice providers, heart failure certified nurses, and a dedicated cardiac psychologist
- Program includes a destination LVAD center, cardiogenic shock program with dedicated ECMO team and CICU critical care service, established CardioMEMS center, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, Barostim, and active heart failure clinical trials and registries
- Serve multiple state-of-the-art heart failure clinics in Greenville and regional locations across a 29-county referral network encompassing 1.4 million residents
- ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
