The facility features an 8-bed Level III NICU, 10 LDR couplet care rooms, an average daily census of 9-11, approximately 1,250 annual deliveries, and in-house OB Hospitalists providing strong collaborative support.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner – Neonatology

Job Details:

  • Provide per diem coverage as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) within a collaborative care model alongside Neonatologists and OB Hospitalists
  • 16-hour shifts with daytime collaboration with Neonatologists and nighttime in-house coverage with Neonatologist on call (30-minute response)
  • Attend deliveries as part of clinical responsibilities
  • Educate RN/RT teams as volume and acuity increase
  • Staffing model consists of 2 Neonatologists and 3 NNPs
  • Active Virginia state license required; IMLC not accepted at this time
  • Current APRN national specialty certification required
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing required
  • Providers must have been clinically active within the last year
  • Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
  • CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
