Job Details:

• Unique opportunity to help lead the foundation and growth of an established surgical team
• Join a collaborative Surgical Subspecialties team that prides itself on exceptional teamwork, communication, and provider autonomy
• Serve as a first-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience
• Responsibilities include ED and inpatient consults, admissions, rounding, discharges, and invasive bedside procedures
• Exposure to a diverse case mix including General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Plastic Surgery
• Experience with robotic-assisted procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more
• Role is open to Physician Assistants
• Inpatient surgical subspecialties setting
• Full-time position with day/night rotating schedule and premium differentials offered
• No call schedule required
• Requires unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant
• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in surgery or a related setting required
