This medical facility serves as a comprehensive healthcare provider for the Sierra Vista community and surrounding region. The facility features a 7-bed department with strong support systems in place, offering locum tenens providers a well-structured environment focused on quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 3 patient encounters per shift
• Manage low risk pregnancies with full delivery services
• Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Exercise decision-making for cesarean sections
• Perform cesarean sections and manage breech deliveries
• Manage abruptions and VBAC deliveries
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
• Board certification required with credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 days
• Must hold an active Arizona license or IMLC
• Nearest airport is Tucson (TUS)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
