Facility:
This facility is a community-based hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient services, featuring an 11-bed emergency department with strong support staff including ED RNs and an APP. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour access to key support services including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology.

Opportunity:
Physician – Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage with an average of 36 patient encounters per day
• Coverage dates: September 9-11, 8am – 8pm, with potential for ongoing future dates
• Onsite orientation required one day prior to first block of assigned shifts
• Work schedule covers 7 days a week in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Average of 3 admissions per shift
• Charting via Meditech EMR system
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required
• Active Michigan license or IMLC required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days; temporary privileges granted when needed
• Facility lodging available if applicable
• Nearest airport: CMX – Hancock, Michigan

Compensation:
