Advanced Practice (CRNA) – Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT
• Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative and procedural period
• Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans
• Perform history and physical examinations and obtain informed consent
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
• Administer General Anesthesia and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)
• Perform Spinal Anesthesia and IV Regional Block procedures
• Manage invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC and intra-arterial lines
• Provide comprehensive airway management
• Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Place central lines and arterial lines as needed
• Operate under medical direction with a CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio of 2:1 or 3:1
• Shift options include 10-hour shifts (8:30am–7pm) and 12-hour shifts (6:30am–7pm, with 7am start on Thursdays)
• No call requirement
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required and must be ready to practice upon completion of credentialing
• Active Pennsylvania state license required; IMLC not accepted
• Board certification required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Nearest airport is Harrisburg International

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
