Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Hospitalist/Emergency

Job Details:

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) position within an inpatient medicine hospitalist setting
• Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
• Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
• Identify problems outside of scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician
• Full-time days with a flexible schedule and no call requirements
• Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible
• Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with Acute Care certification
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Comprehensive orientation provided by exceptional Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
