The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services, including advanced diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, cardiovascular care, cancer services, orthopedic surgery, and critical care, all supported by state-of-the-art clinical technology.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Critical Care
Job Details:
- Join a strong, collaborative team of Critical Care Intensivists in an inpatient critical care setting
- Provide holistic, high-quality care to critically ill patients admitted to the critical care unit
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic diseases utilizing comprehensive knowledge of critical care conditions
- Perform procedures and order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Communicate with patients and families regarding their conditions and care plans
- Collaborate with a variety of consultants across the healthcare system
- Role open to both Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an advanced practice provider in a critical care setting required
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Full-time, salaried position with up to $30,000 in shift differentials on top of base pay, plus possibility for sign-on bonus
