The facility features a 4-bed department with a streamlined credentialing process of approximately 3 days, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for locum providers.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) – Surgery – General

Job Details:

• Provide weekend surgical coverage for select August dates with 1-3 patient encounters per shift
• Perform adult general surgery procedures including trauma cases
• Conduct laparoscopic surgery including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Perform head and neck surgery including thyroid procedures
• Provide chest wall and pleural procedures
• Perform breast surgery procedures
• Conduct GI endoscopy including upper and lower procedures, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• Perform hand surgery procedures
• Manage ventilation and perform chest tube insertion
• Perform central line insertion and PA catheter placement
• Provide vascular surgery services including aneurysm repairs
• Must hold an active Texas medical license
• ACLS certification required
• Nearest major airport is Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
