Physician Assistant – Urgent Care
Job Details:
- Starting Fall 2026 with ongoing locum tenens need across multiple Connecticut counties including New Haven, Middlesex, New London, Windham, Tolland, Hartford, and Litchfield
- Primary emphasis on weekend coverage, though candidates with weekday availability (particularly Mondays and Fridays) will also be considered
- Providers must be able to travel at least 45 minutes between locations
- Providers must be willing to split their day between two locations as needed
- Providers must be amenable to last-minute schedule changes in response to callouts
- Local providers or those who do not require flights to reach their assigned locations are required
- Proficiency in suturing, wound care, and incision and drainage procedures required
- Proficiency in splinting required
- Proficiency in X-ray and EKG interpretation required
- Proficiency in drawing blood required
- Ability to work independently required
- Experience working with pediatric patients of all ages required
- Active Connecticut state license with clean history required
- Active BLS certification required
- Active DEA registration required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
