This medical center is a well-established facility serving the Las Cruces community with comprehensive cardiovascular care services. It features a large, collaborative cardiology group consisting of interventional cardiologists, nurse practitioners, cardiovascular surgeons, an electrophysiology physician, and general cardiologists, providing a highly supportive and team-oriented environment for locum providers.

Opportunity:
Physician – Internal Medicine – Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed 1 week per month, Monday through Monday, preferably the last week of each month
• Round with 1 NP managing a typical inpatient census of 20-40 patients per day
• Expected STEMI calls ranging from 0-3 per week while on call
• Expect 0-2 calls from the house supervisor while on call
• Perform overflow and unassigned cath lab procedures as needed
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Fellowship training required
• Nearest airport is El Paso International Airport

Compensation:
