LPN, Medical Assistant, or Clinic Care Tech
Job Details:
- Serve in an endocrinology practice in a clinical care role as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Clinic Care Technician
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations required
- LPN/CMA: Assist RN, Physician, and other providers while providing direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting
- LPN/CMA: Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated
- LPN/CMA: Care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly
- Clinic Care Technician: Greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document in the patient chart
- Clinic Care Technician: Stock and clean exam rooms, order and maintain clinic supplies, and assist with clerical duties
- Clinic Care Technician: Support patient scheduling, work queue needs, and follow up on no-shows
- Clinic Care Technician: Support virtual visits, complete identification verification, and obtain height and weight measurements
- Clinic Care Technician: Chaperone exams as needed and administer questionnaires while documenting in the electronic medical record
- Clinic Care Technician: May perform limited patient care tasks based on training and may float to support other areas as assigned
- LPN: Active North Dakota LPN license required upon hire; Minnesota LPN license required within 3 months of hire
- CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant required, or verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification required within one year of hire
- CMA: Must register as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire
- LPN/CMA: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 3 months of hire
- CCT: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- CCT: Prior experience in healthcare, patient care, electronic medical records (EMR), and/or medical terminology is preferred
