This urgent care center is part of a well-established healthcare network dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible care to adults and pediatric patients across multiple community locations. The facility operates with a supportive team including a Center Manager, Medical Assistants, PSA, and an offsite Supervising Physician for APP providers, ensuring a strong foundation for locum providers to thrive.

Opportunity:
Board Certified – Advanced Practice (Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner) – Urgent Care

Job Details:

  • Provide urgent care services as the sole provider in the center, treating both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
  • Primary location is Fayetteville (Hope Mills and Francam Drive locations) with potential coverage at Lumberton
  • Provider must already live locally in the immediate area – travel and lodging are not provided
  • Handle high-volume patient care with an average of 45 patient encounters per shift (up to 60 PPD depending on site)
  • Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
  • Must have at least 12 months of experience – new graduates will not be considered
  • Must have experience treating both adults and pediatric patients
  • Active NC license and active NC DEA required
  • Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards); BLS certification required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR required; modified EMR training will be provided prior to first shift
  • Mandatory onboarding and training session required – conducted on set Wednesdays; providers must be able to participate
  • Provider must pass a clinical screening interview prior to scheduling
  • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 20 days; agency credentialing accepted with HCO processing Medicare Enrollment only
  • No call requirements; supervising physician provided offsite for locum APPs
  • Limited mileage reimbursement only (60 miles total round trip); no travel or lodging reimbursement provided
