Physician – Palliative Care
Job Details:
- Serve as Medical Director for a distinguished palliative medicine program spanning two hospital campuses
- Position combines 50% administrative leadership responsibilities with 50% clinical practice
- Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across the health system's Central Region
- Drive innovation, quality improvement, program growth, and community engagement initiatives
- Mentor residents and advanced practice providers while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Partner with an exceptional interdisciplinary team of physicians, APRNs, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and bereavement specialists
- Faculty appointment included with a leading Connecticut medical school
- MD or DO required; must be eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
- Fellowship trained and board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required
- Minimum three years of palliative care practice experience required
- Minimum two years of physician leadership experience required
