The facility features a 25-bed department, an onsite Da Vinci Xi Robot, and dedicated clinic space ready for urological services, along with a Level 3 trauma designation.
Opportunity:
Physician – Urology
Job Details:
- Long-term locum tenens coverage seeking a 1 year or longer commitment beginning August 2026
- 2 week on / 2 week off rotation with flexible scheduling
- Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule includes 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8am – 5pm
- No call coverage required
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Active Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery required
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
- At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested within the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months required
- ACLS certification required
- General adult urology experience required
- Laparoscopic surgery experience required
- Ureteroscopy experience required
- Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy experience required
- TRUS biopsy experience required
- Fertility work-up experience required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
- Facility lodging available with many amenities during scheduled shifts
