The facility boasts a robust cardiology program with a team of 24 cardiologists, providing strong collegial support and resources for locum providers covering inpatient and call responsibilities.
Opportunity:
Physician – Cardiology – Non-Invasive
Job Details:
- Provide Non-Invasive Cardiology coverage in an inpatient/call setting starting July and ongoing
- Schedule consists of 1-2 week blocks, Monday through Friday with weekend coverage included
- Weekend call ratio of 2:4, with 2+ weekends per month (does not need to be consecutive)
- Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with weekend call responsibilities
- Average of 20 clinic patients per day; adult and geriatric patient population
- Perform Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography
- Perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs) and Treadmill Stress Tests
- Other cardiologists will be present during coverage periods
- No supervision of other healthcare providers required
- Documentation via Oracle/Cerner EMR system
- Active New Jersey state license required (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Board Certification required
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Fellowship training required
- NPDB Self-Query report required, pulled within 30 days, at time of presentation
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30-60 days
- Travel reimbursement available including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate
