Opportunity:
Allied Health – Audiologist
Job Details:
- Full-time, clinic-based Audiologist position with a Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm schedule starting ASAP
- Perform diagnostic hearing tests including pure tone air and bone conduction testing, speech audiometry, and impedance audiometry for patients ranging from birth to seniors
- Interpret test results for patients and referring physicians
- Make recommendations regarding the need for medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and other interventions
- Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine appropriate amplification and fit aids to patients with detailed instruction on operation and maintenance
- Provide routine maintenance and hearing aid troubleshooting for aids purchased through the office
- Manage 16-20 patient encounters per shift
- Must hold a successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree program that includes clinical practicum experience
- Master's degree candidates must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A)
- AuD from a board-approved institution satisfies professional work experience requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Active Washington state license required or IMLC eligible
- Credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days; clean history may qualify for expedited privileges
Compensation:
