This cancer institute is a well-established oncology center dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care services to the community. The facility operates within a respected healthcare network and offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment with both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings supported by advanced clinical resources including EPIC EMR.

Board Certified – Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed weekly Monday through Friday, with specific dates including July 27-31 and August 10-14
• Practice setting is primarily inpatient with some outpatient coverage during physician vacation periods
• Coverage needed due to physician relocation from the practice
• Provide oversight and supervision of a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Willingness to enroll patients in research studies is required
• Provide call coverage as needed
• Patient population consists of adult patients
• Average of 12-15 hospital patients per day
• Clinical areas include Oncology (Inpatient and Outpatient) and Hematology
• Documentation via EPIC EMR system
• Active Virginia (VA) medical license required
• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required
• BLS certification required
• Clean background required; NPDB self-query report must be submitted at time of presentation (pulled within 30 days)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
