This is a 213-bed acute care community hospital featuring a 43-bed emergency department with over 55,000 visits annually and a Level 3 trauma center. The facility is part of an extensive healthcare network that includes seven acute care hospitals, one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 1,000 providers.

Board Certified – Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine services in a 43-bed emergency department with 55,000+ annual visits at a Level 3 trauma center
• Work well-balanced 10-hour shifts with a 2-hour overlap between physicians to ensure safe patient disposition, documentation, and turnover
• Operate within a highly efficient practice model that allows physicians to spend more time with higher acuity patients
• Utilize a fully integrated EPIC EMR system
• Work within a stable and well-tenured emergency department supported by efficient and responsive hospital administration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine required
• Must be able to obtain licensure in Connecticut

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
