Opportunity:
Advanced Practice – Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

Job Details:

• Assist in CABG and open heart surgeries, valve repair and replacement procedures
• Perform EVH/vein harvesting with demonstrated independent ability
• Provide SFA exposure and sternotomy closure
• Experience required as SFA in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Provide critical care management within a CV ICU setting
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care
• Operate and manage Impella device support
• Perform endoscopic radial artery harvesting
• Perform chest tube placement and sternotomy closure
• Perform arterial and venous sheath placement
• Perform central venous line placement
• 10 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required with ACLS certification
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
