Facility:
This multi-site healthcare network operates across several locations throughout the Tucson metropolitan area, providing a wide range of surgical and specialty care services to the community. Providers will have the opportunity to work across four facilities, gaining diverse clinical exposure in a well-supported and structured environment with 4 operating rooms per site.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) – Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Urgent need for multiple CRNAs starting as soon as possible on an ongoing basis
- Must be willing to be credentialed at and work across all 4 facility locations
- 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with weeknight and weekend call coverage required
- Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
- Must hold an active Arizona medical license and must be located more than 90 miles from the facility
- Must be certified by the NBCRNA with at least one year of experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; must be issued by AHA or American Red Cross
- Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing peripheral nerve blocks
- Case logs of peripheral nerve blocks performed must be provided – training will not be provided
- Must be able to perform general anesthesia for adult patients
- Required to manage complex vascular and complex orthopedic cases
- Must be proficient in neurosurgical anesthesia with a focus on spine cases
- Ventilation management skills required
- Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues required
- Cases covered vary by location and include Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, GYN Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonary/Bronchoscopy, Gastroenterology, OB, Cardiac, Thoracic, and Structural Heart procedures
- DEA license not required for this position
- Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be submitted within 5 business days of being awarded
- All providers must be fully credentialed and enrolled prior to the start date; estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
