Facility:
This is a well-established, nationally recognized health system operating across multiple hospital campuses in Metro Detroit. The facilities include a Level I and Level III Trauma Center, a teaching hospital environment with more than 200 residents and 30 fellows, and a Heart Rhythm Institute offering high-volume electrophysiology services with advanced procedural support and a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Physician – Electrophysiology

Job Details:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services across two hospital locations in Detroit and Warren, Michigan
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with shared on-call coverage at a 2:1 ratio with another EP physician
• Travel between both locations as needed
• Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations
• Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP independently rounds at one location
• Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and high existing volume
• Collaborate closely with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team
• Engage in medical education and mentoring within a teaching hospital environment
• Contribute to high-acuity patient care at Level I and Level III Trauma Centers
• Utilize Cerner EMR, with a planned transition to Epic in late 2025 to early 2026
• Board Certification in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology required
• Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships required
• Minimum 2–3 years of post-fellowship experience highly preferred
• Must hold or be eligible for a Michigan Medical License
• Must hold active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA certifications
• Clean malpractice and licensure history required
• No visa sponsorship available
• No 1099 arrangements
