The not-for-profit system includes nine hospitals, a children's hospital, and a large physician group encompassing over 1,200 academic and community providers practicing across more than 220 primary and specialty clinic locations. The system's flagship facilities are both Level I Trauma Centers and serve as primary teaching hospitals for a prominent School of Medicine.

MD, DO – Cardiology
Job Details:
- Telecardiology opportunity providing telemedicine-based cardiovascular care to practices located in Edenton and Ahoskie, NC
- Board certification in Cardiology required with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience
- 100% remote position with a Monday through Friday schedule
- 3 days per week telemedicine in Ahoskie (7:30am–4:30pm) and 2 days per week telemedicine in Edenton (8:00am–4:30pm)
- Alternating workdays with an onsite cardiologist
- Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including consults and care for new and established patients
- Close collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers who provide onsite clinical care at respective clinic locations
- Full clinical support provided by the Heart & Vascular Care Program
- Access to a large primary care and specialist referral network
- System-wide integrated EMR utilizing EPIC
- No call responsibilities
- Hospital privileges at a 25-bed critical access hospital and a 114-bed regional hospital
- Qualified applicants may be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends
- No J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
