The system is comprised of nine hospitals, a children's hospital, and a physician group encompassing over 1,200 academic and community providers practicing across more than 220 primary and specialty clinics. The local critical access hospital is a 25-bed facility offering medical and surgical services, intensive care, a specialty care clinic, and a seven-bed emergency department, with a state-of-the-art telehealth system connecting patients to specialists at the academic medical center.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – Cardiology
Job Details:
- Join an established cardiology practice in Edenton, NC serving a growing regional healthcare system
- At least 2 years of provider experience required, preferably in cardiology
- Inpatient and outpatient clinical position with hospital privileges at two regional hospitals
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with no call
- Responsibilities include consults, providing care for new and established patients, and assisting with stress tests and EKG interpretation
- Work in conjunction with an onsite cardiologist and telecardiologist
- ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
- Board certification required
