The facility serves a regional service area of approximately 64,000 patients and features strong domiciled clinic partners across multiple specialties, along with advanced technology including EPIC with DAX AI and 24/7 RN-based telephone call coverage.
Opportunity:
Physician – Internal Medicine
Job Details:
- Lead a Care Team utilizing established care processes, working collaboratively with healthcare team members to achieve patient care objectives and provide continuity of care
- Combination of complex inpatient and ambulatory (outpatient) patient care – approximately 80% clinic and 20% hospital work
- Anticipated clinic work schedule Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with post-call day off
- Estimated 16 patients per day
- Primary call rotation of 1 in 8
- Proceduralists welcome – including scopes, stress tests, injections, and more
- Strong specialist support on-site including Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Addiction Medicine, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine
- Outreach specialty support available including Nephrology, Pulmonary, Neurology, Urology, Rheumatology, Orthotics, Sleep Study, and Orthopedics
- On-site RN-based Anti-Coag, Diabetes, CDM, Hypertension, Nail Care, and Complex Care Management available daily
- 24/7 RN-based telephone call coverage, high-complexity laboratory, and state-of-the-art radiology on-site
- EPIC electronic medical record including DAX AI
- Avel Hospitalist telemedicine evening coverage available
