Opportunity:
Advanced Practice – Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- Permanent placement opportunity providing anesthesia services with approximately 5 patient encounters per shift
- Administer and manage general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients
- Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia services
- Support surgical specialties including complete orthopedics, head and spine, neurosurgery, and pediatric cases
- Manage neurosurgical cases including head and spine procedures
- Provide complex orthopedic anesthesia care
- Perform and manage post-operative epidurals and extremity blocks
- Administer epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical conditions
- Perform transforaminal procedures for lumbar and cervical indications
- Utilize x-ray guidance in the performance of blocks
- Manage ventilation and evaluate acute volume and blood pressure issues
- Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as needed
- Provide pain management techniques and post-operative care
- CRNA supervision responsibilities included
- Must hold active Indiana license or IMLC licensure
- Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 75 days
- Nearest airport is Indianapolis with lodging available in the Kokomo/Westfield area
