Facility:
This is a leading pediatric hospital and ACS Level 1 Trauma Center dedicated exclusively to the care of children, from neonates to adolescents. The facility features 14 operating rooms, an annual ER volume of 70,000, and a collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs, supported by a staff of 22 anesthesiologists.

Opportunity:
Physician – Anesthesiology – Pediatric

Job Details:

  • Full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist coverage needed from November 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027, with additional coverage options extending through October 2027
  • Hospital-based operating room setting with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, 0700-1530
  • Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day covering all pediatric subspecialties except cardiac surgery, cath lab, and transplant surgery
  • Responsible for a mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
  • Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
  • Procedures required include general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), thoracic cases (except open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management
  • Must have completed a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
  • Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
  • Active Ohio medical license required; IMLC not accepted
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Clean background with no malpractice history required
  • Fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon job acceptance
  • Travel reimbursement provided including mileage at IRS standard rate, rental car, hotel, and flight
