The facility features a 20-bed department, a Level III NICU, an LDRP model, and access to a surgery center with robotic capabilities, ensuring physicians have the tools and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

  • Permanent placement opportunity seeking a full-scope OB/GYN generalist to join a busy, established practice
  • Joining a group of 3 existing physicians to form a 4-generalist group, with a hospitalist rounding out a call group of 5 physicians
  • Call is restricted in-house at a 1:5 ratio
  • Family Medicine residency program on-site to assist with OB triage and floor patient management
  • Access to surgery center and robotic surgical capabilities at the hospital
  • Level III NICU and LDRP model in place
  • 22 patient encounters per shift across a 20-bed department
  • Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
  • Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
  • Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) required and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) preferred
  • Handle routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
  • Office and minor gynecology procedures required including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
  • Surgical gynecology required including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
  • Laser certification required
  • Board certification required with active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility
  • Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
