Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Urgent Care
Job Details:
- Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) opportunity serving Fairfield County communities including Trumbull, Fairfield, Stamford, and surrounding areas
- Full-Time position at 38 hours per week with flexible part-time options available at 24 hours per week
- Rotating schedule within clinic hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Weekend rotations shared across the provider team
- Providers may work at multiple Fairfield County locations including Trumbull, Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Shelton, Stratford, Monroe, and Wilton
- Evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries across the full patient lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Perform laceration repair, suturing, and staple removal
- Conduct incision and drainage procedures
- Provide splinting and casting services
- Manage wound care
- Perform EKG interpretation and preliminary X-ray interpretation
- Administer IV therapy and medications
- Conduct DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Connecticut APRN or PA license required (or eligibility)
- FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification required
- Minimum of one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience required
- Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages
- No call responsibilities
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
