This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Walla Walla region and surrounding communities. As a Level 3 trauma center, it provides a broad range of surgical and inpatient services with a collaborative care environment and strong provider support.

Opportunity:
Physician – Surgery – General

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens general surgery coverage beginning November 18, 2026 and ongoing
• Coverage includes 8 inpatient clinical hours per shift with overnight beeper call
• Minimum commitment of 2 weeks per month required
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applied after 9 hours per day
• Approximately 7 patient encounters per shift
• Active Washington State license or IMLC required
• Board certification required
• DEA required
• ATLS certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• Must perform adult general surgery procedures
• Trauma surgery experience required (Level 3 trauma facility)
• Laparoscopic surgery required, including appendectomy and cholecystectomy
• Chest wall and pleural procedures required
• Chest tube insertion required
• Central line insertion required
• Non-urgent patients may be referred to outpatient general surgeons

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
