Job Details:
- Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage needed for gap coverage in call schedule
- Hospital-based rounding practice setting
- 24-hour call shifts required
- 10-14 days of call coverage needed per month
- Average of 1 case per day
- Level 2 Trauma designation
- 20 operating rooms on site
- Documentation via EPIC EMR
- Adult patient population
- Required procedures include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery), Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without Heart Valve Surgery), Pericardial Window, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, and Mitral Valve Repair
- Active Ohio medical license required
- Board Certification required
- Fellowship Training required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be available to cover the specific dates listed in the posting
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days; emergency privileging will be considered
- Lodging reimbursement available at approximately $150/night
- All other travel bookings approved at standard/economy rates
