Job Details:
- Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (APRN) for a full-time inpatient hospitalist role
- Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other health team members
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
- Days only schedule with no call required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Comprehensive orientation provided by experienced Physician and Advanced Practice Hospitalists
- Utilize EPIC for state-of-the-art clinical and informatics technology to promote improved patient outcomes
- Dedicated support through the Office of Advanced Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
