The division is actively involved in academic medicine through partnerships with a major university and teaching hospital, offering providers a dynamic environment at the forefront of surgical innovation and patient care.

Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties
Job Details:
- Partner closely with a reputable plastic surgeon practicing within both ambulatory and OR intraoperative settings
- Ambulatory and outpatient responsibilities include postoperative follow-up appointments and office-based procedures
- Intraoperative first assist responsibilities include both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a primary focus on oncology breast reconstruction
- Inpatient rounding may be included on a limited basis
- Required to be certified for first assisting in the operating room
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday – no call or weekends
- Consistent OR time with continual opportunities for growth and advancement in an academic plastic surgery department
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program required
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
- Certification as a Physician Assistant required
- Plastic surgery experience highly preferred
- Surgical experience preferred
- Prior experience as a PA highly preferred
