This hospital is part of a well-established regional healthcare network serving central Wisconsin, providing comprehensive women's health and birthing services to the surrounding community. The facility features an 8-bed department with a dedicated birthing center conveniently located on the same floor as the clinic, supported by a Certified Nurse Midwife on staff and a collaborative care team.

Physician (MD) – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens assignment covering specific dates in 2026: September 4-11 (starting 7am), September 25 – October 1, and November 16-22 – providers must be available for 2026 dates
• 24-hour call coverage required every day including weekends
• 4 hours of clinic patients Monday through Friday covering OB, GYN, pessaries, and annual appointments using EPIC
• Clinic responsibilities include reviewing lab results, answering in-basket questions, and serving as a resource for RNs
• On days when the on-site physician covers call, the locum provider will work an 8-hour clinic shift with no call required
• Averaging 12-20 deliveries per month with 0-3 hospital patient encounters per shift and 6 hours of clinic
• Must be proficient in low-risk pregnancy management and FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Amniocentesis required
• Routine deliveries required including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for c-section required
• Complicated deliveries required including c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations required
• Surgical gynecology required including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures, and operative/major procedures such as ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• BLS certification required
• Wisconsin license or IMLC required to be considered
• Board certification eligible minimum; board certification not required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• ACT 10 acceptable
• Nearest airport is CWA; lodging options include Fairfield Inn, Home2 Suites, Holiday Inn, and Cobblestone

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
