The facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center and is actively expanding its urology department, offering providers a collaborative environment with strong organizational support.
Opportunity:
Physician – Urology
Job Details:
- Urology Hospitalist role working a 7 on/7 off schedule with inpatient coverage and overnight beeper call
- Shift times are 7am-7pm with 12 guaranteed hours per day and 15 patient encounters per shift
- Minimum of 14 shifts required per month
- Active Washington State license or IMLC required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years required
- DEA registration required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 150 Urology Surgery Case Logs required for privileges
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Must perform a wide range of urology procedures including Ureteroscopy with laser and Shockwave lithotripsy
- General adult urology skills required
- Advanced endoscopic techniques required
- Laparoscopic surgeries required
- Percutaneous nephrolithotomy required
- Ureteroscopy required
- Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit required
- Radical prostatectomy required
- Nephrectomy required
- Prostatectomy required
- Pelvic node dissection required
- Robotic surgery required, including partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound
- Adrenalectomy required
- Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy required
- TRUS biopsies required
- Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) required
- Opportunity for transition into a permanent staff position if mutually agreeable
