Advanced Practitioners – Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position joining an energetic and growing hospitalist team
- Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
- Setting: Inpatient medicine, hospitalist at Manchester Memorial Hospital and/or Rockville General Hospital
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer appropriately when needed
- No call schedule required
- Comprehensive orientation program provided for new and experienced providers
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in an internal medicine/hospitalist setting required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
