Facility:
This hospital is part of a well-established healthcare network offering comprehensive oncology services to the coastal Oregon community. The facility features a newly renovated clinic supported by an exceptional team including highly skilled infusion nurses, an oncology nurse navigator, medical assistants, an oncology dietitian, a social worker, and schedulers, along with access to a specialized Oncology Palliative Care team.
Opportunity:
Board Certified – Hematology Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
Job Details:
- Outpatient clinic-only position with no rounding or call requirements
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break; option for Monday through Wednesday with 10-hour shifts
- Approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
- Work onsite at the hospital clinic alongside an oncologist, with some days working independently
- Manage hematology oncology patients in the infusion suite
- Manage in-basket and respond to patients regarding lab results
- Collaborate with the oncology nurse navigator to triage patient calls
- Partner with the Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon to access leading oncology expertise and resources
- Active Oregon license required; providers willing to obtain OR license will be considered
- DEA required
- Board certification required
- AONCP certification is required
- BLS certification required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
- Start Date: December 1, 2026 – Ongoing
Compensation:
