Advanced Practitioners – Surgery
Job Details:
- Unique opportunity to help lead the foundation and growth of an established surgical team
- Join a collaborative Surgical Subspecialties team that prides itself on exceptional teamwork, communication, and provider autonomy
- Serve as a first-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience
- Responsibilities include ED and inpatient consults, admissions, rounding, discharges, and invasive bedside procedures
- Exposure to a diverse case mix including General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, and Plastic Surgery
- Experience with robotic-assisted procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more
- Role is open to Physician Assistants
- Inpatient surgical subspecialties setting
- Full-time position with day/night rotating schedule and premium differentials offered
- No call schedule required
- Requires unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in surgery or a related setting required
- Paid CME time off plus CME budget, reimbursed professional licenses and dues
